Anchored by an H-E-B grocery store, the center also offers a bank, restaurants, video rental store, hair salon, dry cleaner and dentist to serve the growing needs of the community.

Bury was responsible for the site design and public infrastructure improvements, the design of water and wastewater main extensions, along with the design and permitting of a public wastewater lift station. A regional detention and sedimentation / filtration pond were also designed for the site to control both the flow and quality of stormwater runoff from the site.

This project also required the addition of a right turn lane from FM 620 to Anderson Mill Road, for which Bury was responsible for the design and permitting.

Plaza Volente is the first shopping center in a rapidly expanding residential area to offer retail and grocery sales. The land was originally purchased to keep pace with the area's residential growth.
