The 36-inch ductile iron pipeline had to be installed within the narrow right-of-way of Ross Road with numerous existing utility conflicts.  In addition, traffic control and handling of excess spoil materials from the excavation provided significant obstacles.  Bury coordinated with City and County officials along with private property owners for sufficient working areas to safely and efficiently install the large pipeline.

The high P.I. clay material in the area offered design challenges with respect to proper blocking and restraint to offset anticipated thrust loads.  The selected joint restraint provided for effective anchoring of the pipeline.
